The IP Jokes Editorial Team researches and maintains our IP tools, privacy explainers, and VPN comparisons. IP Jokes was built out of a simple idea: checking your IP address should be fast, understandable, and not completely joyless.
We also believe privacy education doesn't have to be dry. That's why every visit comes with a joke. Because if the internet is going to track you, you might as well laugh about it.

- Testing transparency — We distinguish browser tool results from editorial research and state when a comparison has not been supported by controlled hands-on testing.
- Useful limitations — We explain what an IP address, VPN, or leak test cannot prove instead of treating privacy tools as magic.
- Corrections and updates — We add visible review dates to advice content and revise material claims when standards, products, or prices change.
